"Dashahara of Odisha"

 Durga Puja is a major festival of Hindus and Odisha.  The last day of the festival is known as Dashahara or Vijaya Dashami.  Durga Puja is a festival of Shakti worship.  According to various customs, it is celebrated for sixteen days, nine days or three days.  In the Puranas, the annual Sharad Puja is called.  Goddess Durga is a tragedy. Worshiping Durga with reverence on Navratri gives the devotee new strength.  It is recommended to chant the Navarna or Navakshari mantra to awaken this new energy of the fort.  Nabar means nine and Arna means letter.
