1. Delhi Government has announced reforms in Excise Policy. The new excise policy was approved by the Cabinet on basis of the recommendations of the Group of Ministers and it will act as a major blow to the liquor mafia in the national capital
2. Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao has announced a 30 percent fitment for state govt employees and teachers underpay revision and increased the retirement age to 61 years from 58. The decision to hike salaries is applicable for contract employees, Home guards, and others in the state
3. In cricket, India Legends defeated Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs in the final of the Road Safety World Series to clinch the title at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 21 March 2021
4. The Parliament has passed the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021 with Rajya Sabha passing it on 22 March 2021. The Bill seeks to modify the list of Scheduled Castes in Tamil Nadu
5. Lok Sabha has passed the Marine Aids to Navigation Bill, 2021, to replace an old lighthouse law. The bill seeks to provide a framework for the development, maintenance, and management of aids to navigation in the country.
6. Meeting of the Permanent Indus Commission between India and Pakistan is being held in Delhi on 23-24 March 2021. The Commission deals with water rights on the Indus river.
7. India's Divyansh Singh Panwar and Elavenil Valarivan won the gold medal on 22 March 2021 in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team. The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup is being held in Delhi.
8. India supplied two Mobile Harbour Cranes (MHCs) each weighing 100 tons to Iran on 22 March 2021. It is part of the development of phase-I of Shahid Beheshti port in Chabahar by India.
9. The Gandhi Peace Prize for the year 2020 will be conferred on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Rahman was the first President of Bangladesh. Rahman is known as the "Father of the Nation" or simply "Mujib" in Bangladesh.
10. Lok Sabha passed the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill 2021 on 22 March 2021. The bill amends the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991
