1. Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lt. Governor Admiral D K Joshi declared that the UT has achieved 100 percent Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) coverage. With this, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands becomes the third state/UT in the country to achieve the target after Goa and Telangana under Jal Jeevan Mission.

2. India occupied the second position among large emerging markets in February 2021. This is the second consecutive month in which India has managed to climb to the top.

3. ICICI Bank has announced the launch of an instant EMI (Equated Monthly Instalments) facility on its internet banking platform. It is the first in the industry to do so.

4. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) assessment framework for Science, Maths, and English on 24 March 2021.

5. Fitch Ratings has revised India's GDP growth estimate to 12.8% for the next fiscal from the previous 11%. The agency, in its latest Global Economic Outlook GEO, anticipates the level of the country's GDP to remain well below its pre-pandemic forecast trajectory

6. US Senate has voted to confirm Indian-American Dr. Vivek Murthy to be President Biden's Surgeon General. Dr. Murthy served as the Surgeon General under the Obama administration from 2014 to 2017

7. Lok Sabha passed the Finance Bill 2021 on 23 March 2021. It gives effect to the financial proposals of the central government for the year 2021-22.

8. March 24 marks the birth anniversary of the great Carnatic Musician Muthuswami Dikshitar. Dikshitar was the legendary composer of Indian classical Carnatic music. Dikshitar, Shyama Sastri, and Tyāgayya formed the musical trinity of Carnatic music.

9. The two-day Annual Assam Rifles Commanders’ Conference started on 23 March 2021. It aimed at seeking solutions to the challenges faced in maintaining the internal peace and security of the North Eastern States, as also issues related to security along the Indo Myanmar Border.

10. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a central PSU, has established an e-Tendering Portal-PRANIT. This portal will lead to less paperwork, ease of operation, and make the tendering process more transparent.
